Nigeria

To address prevalent issues faced by young and middle-aged people, the Selfpropelled Global, SPG, said there is need for mindset re-engineering.

Speaking on the initiative, the Chief conceptualizer, Abu Zunny, explained that the low self-esteem and inadequate value conceptualization, creation, and delivery processes contributes to the economic degradation and social vices in the society.

According to the organizers, the seminar, tagged ‘2024: My Best Year Yet’ Initiative, will propel attendees towards peak personal performance in 2024.

Zunny, in a statement, said: “Selfpropelled Global, SPG, is set to launch its flagship programme, ‘2024: My Best Year Yet,’ on January 13, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria, with a live stream accessible to participants worldwide through various social media platforms. SPG, a global initiative, aims to address some prevalent issues faced by young and middle-aged people; the aspiration for success, while commendable, has generated numerous challenges in our world today.

Instead of evolving into individuals of success through personal development and increased value, many are fixated on materialism as a representation of success. Consequently, this shift has resulted in the problem of low self-esteem and inadequate value conceptualization, creation, and delivery processes, contributing to economic degradation and social vices in our present society.

“The ‘2024: My Best Year Yet’ programme has been meticulously crafted to inform, inspire, and guide participants in setting direction and goals. This immersive one-day event serves as a roadmap to personal and professional excellence, providing a unique and comprehensive approach to creating and achieving life aspirations. The seminar focuses on mindset re-engineering, leading attendees to achieve clarity of direction, marketplace readiness, and relevance in expressing and delivering value.

“Distinguished keynote speakers and panelists, who have achieved global success and recognition across various fields, will share their insights at the event. Recognizing that merely showing up or spending time in the marketplace is insufficient, the programme emphasizes the importance of expressing value to determine the corresponding value received.

“The ultimate objective of ‘2024: My Best Year Yet’ is to empower participants to become the most valuable individuals they can be in 2024. Following the seminar, a lifelong journey of entrepreneurship or employability training awaits attendees, with grants awarded to deserving trainees.

“Subsequently, the inaugural Annual Global Efforts Festival in June 2024, will showcase and celebrate outcomes from participants’ efforts toward their goals. Success stories will be shared and curated on a global platform, serving as reference materials to inspire and propel others into action.

Looking ahead, SPG aims to impact a minimum of 1 million young and middle-aged individuals across Nigeria and Africa over the next five years. To achieve this ambitious goal, SPG welcomes collaborations with individuals, organizations, industries, and groups interested in nation and capacity building.

Together, let’s make 2024, your best year yet.”
