GLObal Homes, publishers of Global Homes magazine has inaugurated the maiden edition of what would be an annual property awards ceremony. The award is to reward those who have contributed positively to the growth of the real estate sector.

The publisher of the magazine, Mrs. Roni Akins said that the award ceremony was aimed at celebrating the best of the best and offer an unmatched showcase of Nigeria’s residential and commercial real estate industry.

According to her, the award will assist in promoting the high level of quality in Nigeria’s real estate, construction, architectural and interior design sectors, and also assist the professional services on offer in the country.

“I want to be part of building Nigeria, having come a long way with a lot of challenges in this industry. That was why the award aims to promote, reward and showcase the best in Nigeria’s real estate industry. The professionally run award system will put Nigeria’s real estate on the world stage,” she said.

While commending the winners, she said that the award would offer them a platform to advertise campaigns and billboards around the country as a testament to their excellence.

Responding, the Head, Corporate Banking at Aso Savings and Loans Plc, Mr. Moses Azege described the award as the beginning of good things to happen to the PMI. “We are celebrating success and this is the beginning of good things to come in the this industry. We will continue to support the industry and ensure that Nigeria real estate industry is positioned to compete favourably at the global stage,” he said.

Another award recipient and managing director, Resort Savings and Loans, PIc, Mr. Abimbola Olayinka commended the organizers for a job well done and called for the sustainance.

The award recipients were UPICLC Limited for best developer management, Design Union as best

architectural company and Broad Property Limited for best property management design.

.Other winners included, Aso Savings and Loans for the mortgage banking category while the UPDC PIc won the best residential management company of the year.
