The 6th ECOWAS trade fair in Lome will afford Nigeria the opportunity to showcase its economic potential, Mr David Adejuwon, said.  Adejuwon, who is the Acting Director of Trade Department in the Ministry of Trade and Investment, said  the Minister, Dr Olusegun Aganga, would deliver a keynote address at the show.

He also said that the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) would make a presentation on “Nigerian Investment Climate and Business Opportunities.

“In line with the Federal Government’s current transformation strategy, particularly on attracting increased FDI into the nation’s economy, companies participating at the fair are expected to exhibit quality products that meet international standards.

“This will not only enhance Nigeria’s image but also attract orders for export,’’

the director said. According to him, the ministry is finalising arrangements to ensure that Nigerian businessmen and women participate actively at the fair. The director said that activities, such as business/investment forum, exhibition, networking and cocktail party and cultural displays, would feature at the fair.
