LAGOS— Centre for Criminal Justice Reform and Citizen Awareness, CCJRCA and Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, NIIA, are organising an International Conference on: “Challenges of Terrorism in the 21st Century Global Community” in response to a call by the Federal Government on stakeholders to assist in tackling the security challenges in the country.
The event is in collaboration with Access Bank Plc and others.
Various security experts from Nigeria, Africa and all over the world are billed to attend.
According to Public Relations Officer of CCJRCA, Mr Rotimi Asher, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Mohammed Adoke, SAN, will flag- off a multi-pronged review of the existing legal framework designed to tackle terrorism in Nigeria at the conference.
The event will provide stakeholders an opportunity to interact with field officers from various security agencies, and provide policy makers and law enforcement administrators useful insights, regarding the most appropriate measures to adopt, in addressing terrorism challenges in the country.
