Join us to propagate the truth, GKS tells other churches

 By Laja Thomas

Amid pomp, peageantry, dancing and singing, the Lagos branch of God’s Kingdom Society, GKS celebrated her annual freedom day anniversary with a charge on other churches to join the GKS in propagating the truth about the practice of Christianity in accordance with what is stated in the holy book.

Giving this charge was the chairman, executive board of GKS, Bro. God-win Ifeacho during the celebration of the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ held at the Egbe branch of the church in Lagos.

During a chat with newsmen on the occasion, Bro. Ifeacho alluded to biblical and historical evidences to support the church’s claim that Jesus Christ was born in the month of October, instead of December 25, which is widely acknowledged, adding “we want other churches to reason with their voice of conscience. If they believe that what we have been preaching is true, they should come out and join us in this crusade to propagate the truth. Only the truth can free the entire world from falsehood which has gained ground in the world.”

Citing II Corinthians 6:14-18 to buttress his point, he explained the difference between GKS and other churches, saying “in GKS, we preach the truth unadulterated, according to what is stated in the Bible. You see my brothers, there are too many distortions and falsehood in Christendom. One of such is the doctrine of Trinity, which other churches preach.”

Bro. Ifeacho said while Jesus Christ, the son of God, was created by God, God, the father was not created, arguing that this was what some of these churches don’t know. He queried: “How can you compare a son to his father? These churches said both are inseparable, which is very wrong. For instance, look at what other churches do with regards to the performance of spurious miracles by today’s men of God.

“In GKS, we believe in miracles performed by God Himself. You see the age whereby God is using human beings to perform miracles is past gone. God still does miracles, without any human contribution like what we have today,” he added.
