THE Police Assistance Committee (PAC) has embarked on intensive training programme for its grassroot members on how to pass information on-line to keep assisting security agencies on how to prevent, detect and combat crime in the country.

At a two-day training programme held in Lagos to update members on its on-line operations, the body instructed all chairmen, secretaries and PRO’S of Association of Tradesmen and Artisans who constitute bulk of their members nationwide, to open channels of communication with all security agencies, like SSS, EFCC, Police, NDLEA, Military Intelligence, Immigration, Customs, and others for on-ward dissemination of information in secrecy to assist them in their operations to combat crime in the country.

Addressing participant at the workshop, Director-General of PAC Dr. Martins Oni urged members to join hands with all major stakeholders on security matters in the country to address the security challenges confronting the country.
