Jonathan begins presidential retreat in C/River

Calabar— President Goodluck Jonathan will commence a one-week Presidential retreat at the Obudu Mountain Ranch Resort, Cross River State, from Wednesday.

The retreat is expected to bring the President, members of his cabinet and highly placed politicians and business community to the state to evaluate activities in the country and how to ensure that the people reap dividends of democracy.

Speaking in Calabar on the readiness of the Cross River State Government to host the retreat, the Commi-ssioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Patrick Ugbe, said the state had put everything in place to host the President during his week-long stay.
