ONITSHA- Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Anambra State branch, has threatened to resume its suspended strike should government fail to rectify the shortfall in the original salary chart government agreed to pay as part of their consolidated judiciary salary structure.

Chairman of the union, Mr Mike Ifezue told Vanguard that JUSUN had suspended its strike following an agreement between it and government.

In a thank you letter  dated September 14, to government for commencing what he described as partial implementation of CONJUSS, Ifezue said the union observed that in their August salary there was a shortfall from the original chart given to them through the Chief Judge which formed the basis of the agreement reached with government.
He said: “The union is therefore demanding that this shortfall and subsequent salaries be rectified in line with the original chart. Failure by government to do so will force the workers to resume the suspended strike action.”
