ONITSHA- AS the controversy surrounding the recent tenure elongation of transition caretaker committee chairmen in Anambra State rages, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Chukwudi Orizu, Monday said the law makers approved the renewal of the tenure to enable government and the state electoral body prepare adequately for the council poll.

The committee chairmen were inaugurated on June 12 while the council poll as earlier announced by governor Peter Obi is expected to hold in October.
