Sapele Okpe leaders condemn attacked on Dafinone

The alleged demonstration and newspaper sponsored report by members of Sapele Okpe Community against second republic Senator Chief David Omueya Dafinone alias D.O.D. has continued to elicit condemnation across prominent Okpe indegenes, describing the action as mindless and mischievous.

A body-Pan Okpe group, in a press statement by the president of the group, Elder Godwin Aghalaja  condemned in totality the action of the community under  the chairmanship of Mr. Michael Ebgejule for mobilizing youths and strange women under the guise of Eghwe-mese(elderly women group) which is not the recognizes and legal Eghwe-mese in protest march against our reputable national leader, observing that the renowned Okpe-Urhobo chief and octogenarian deserve better and noble treatment rather the being slandered by persons who hither to have no bearing in the affairs of Sapele- Okpe Community until recently when they were made somebody by DOD.

Godwin Aghalaja further noted that their was no justification by those persons to cast aspersions on a foremost king maker in Okpe and a renowned  industrialist just because of their vault ambition to enriched themselves with community money.

Pointed out that Senator Dafinone is a pillar to Okpe and Urhobo nation and not Sapele Okpe Community alone and as such they will now allow anybody whatsoever to drag his name to the mound.
