Of the three major candidates, only Waziri Atiku Abubakar chose a running mate within the time earliest time allowed by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The rest used placeholders.

Similarly, only Waziri Atiku set up his Presidential Campaign Council within the earliest allowable time. Some of the rest have still not finished setting up theirs. The same is true for his manifesto. It has been ready for months. Meanwhile, Obi’s manifesto is not even complete, and Tinubu only just unveiled his last week.

And finally, only Waziri Atiku began his campaign immediately the INEC blew the whistle. The others postponed theirs, with Tinubu not even still ready, and Obi kickstarting his a mere three days ago.

What does this tell us? It reveals that the only candidate that is ready from day one to be President is Waziri Atiku Abubakar. All other candidates are either ill prepared or partially prepared.

The travails facing us as a nation are too hydra headed for a learner. We need a firm hand with the capacity to take command of the wheel from day one.

And the world sees that Atiku is the only candidate that is ready. Which is why the United States Department invited him over for discussions on how the US can cooperate with Nigeria in the run up to the 2023 elections and afterwards.

It shows confidence in the leadership of the Waziri.

Besides, let us face it. If Peter Obi’s Presidential Campaign Council and manifesto are not yet fully finalised, and Bola Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council and manifesto just came on board, it shows that they both are followers, while Atiku is a leader. Why vote a follower, when you can have a leader?

It is for this reason and others that I urge Nigerians to vote Waziri Atiku Abubakar, and the Peoples Democratic Party, in the February 25, 2023 elections and beyond.
