MAKURDI – Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro has blamed recent bombings in parts of the country on aliens who come into the country with the intent to cause breach of the peace.

Moro, however, assured that the Nigerian Immigration Services has been properly re-orientated to confront the challenges of checking the influx of illegal alliens and those considered as security risks into the country.

The Minister spoke during a visit to Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State and urged Nigerians to rise up to their responsibilities of ensuring that perpetrators of the bombings were exposed.

Moro said: “The terrorism stories we read in the newspapers in other countries are here with us; everyone must share in the responsibilities of ensuring security in our neighbourhood because the masterminds are here with us.

‘’This thing is happening in our country because we have lost our core values of being our brothers’ keepers; we must retrace our steps and ensure that those perpetrating these acts are fished out and punished accordingly” .
