BY  TONY EDIKE

ENUGU – THE Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, South-East Zone, has dissociated itself from calls by some aggrieved party members for the declaration of state of emergency in Imo State which is under the control of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

A statement by the National Vice-Chairman of PDP, South East Zone, Chief Olisa Metuh, said: “The South-East Zone of PDP wishes to dissociate itself from the call for a state of emergency in Imo State. Our position as a law-abiding party is that only the courts can determine all issues.

We accept the legitimacy of the Rochas Okorocha state government pending the decision of the court.”
