For those who throng the Airforce Base in Ikeja recently for a friendly match between Lagos Sheraton hotel and the Four Points by Sheraton, Lekki they did not expect to see two ex Eagles players on parade.

But to their surprise, the management of the hotels had a different plan as they had invited the duo of Jay Jay Okocha and Victor Ikpeba, both great ex- eagles players.

Playing for the winning side, the Lagos Sheraton, was Jay Jay Okocha, who was the cynosure of the teeming crowd, displaying those skillful passes of his.

Though Ikpeba did not last long in the match his team lost by 5-3, he said they decided to play in the match because of their relationship with the Sheraton hotel.

“We appreciate the relationship we have developed over the years with Lagos Sheraton as players in the Super Eagles of Nigeria and till now.”

While commending the hotel management for its world class services, Okocha added that they were part of the match to encourage young Nigerians that they can achieve what they want to with hadwork and dedication.
