LAGOS — An aide of Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed, the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Emeka Nwapa, has said the party has now been repositioned by in such a way that it can take the commanding heights in its quest for good governance which is necessary for delivering democracy dividends.
Speaking with newsmen yesterday in Lagos, Mr Nwapa said Haliru Mohammed upon assumption of office, met a party that was severely fractured and threatened by internal and external strives, maintaining that the party was in desperate need of a formidable and purposeful leadership
Nwapa listed the challenges faced by the Acting National Chairman to include true and enduring reconciliation of party members; drawing up a campaign programme to win the general elections, among others.
