Reprieve came for the embattled former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, as the United Arab Emirate authorities, weekend, granted him access to provide himself with adequate health care.
Sunday Vanguard’s attempts to get Ibori or his associates to speak on the development failed. Though one of the aides who pleaded anonymity confirmed the report, he added that the Ibori’s camp was still studying the situation as another litigation against him is ongoing in Dubai.
