ANPP supporters clash with FAAN officials

LAGOS – It was a free for all, yesterday, as supporters of the All Nigerian Peoples Party, ANPP, attacked officials of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, for towing their Toyota Primera car.

Vanguard gathered that the car belonging to one of the supporters of Alhaji Ibrahim Shakarau, was towed and parked behind the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA .

The ANPP supporters were at the Murtala Muhammed Airport 11 to receive  the presidential candidate of their party , Alhaji Ibrahim Shakarau, who was expected  at the airport.

According to one of the supporters, Mr. Abi Salami, who spoke to Vanguard, “we came from Lagos Island to receive the presidential candidate of our party, ANPP, but as soon as we parked our car here, a FAAN towing van came and towed the vehicle.”
