BY KOLADE LAREWAJU

ABEOKUTA – COORDINATOR of the Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Committee in Ogun State; Elder Joju Fadairo yesterday alleged intimidation of some political office holders by the state government over their refusal to decamp from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the Peoples Party of Nigeria, PPN, saying the attempt to force them against their will was unacceptable.

Fadairo who was the Chairman of the PDP in the state until the recent court ruling spoke at the inauguration of eight committees to campaign for all the candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.

Vanguard learnt that some of the political appointees have been receiving sack threats when they refuse to follow others to PPN. For example, the Yewa South Local Government Education Authority Secretary, Mrs. Amosa Akintade was allegedly sacked for her refusal to join the PPN.
