MEMBER representing Sapele constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Monday Igbuya, said he has no hand in the suspected murder of Mr Saturday Agbamu.
It will be recalled that Mr Agbamu, Personal Assistant to the chairman of Sapele Local Government Area of the state, Mr Godwin Atuse was allegedly killed by yet unknown gunmen some weeks ago in Sapele.
Igbuya who was reacting to insinuation making the rounds that he has a hand in the murder of the late Agbamu, said; “I have never killed. I have not sent anybody to kill any person. I do not have killers as my followers. We do not believe in killing to achieve power. We believe God giveth power and giveth power to those he so desire.
“I have contested several elections. When I ran my first election in 1987, I never killed. I won the election as a counsillor under zero party. I ran another election to the council in 1998, I won and I ran against Atuse as a candidate in ANPP and I was the PDP candidate.
“We never killed. I do not have any relationship with killers, I am not known for such things,” he added.
