The Ambassador of Venezuela to Nigeria, Mr. Enrique Fernando Arrundelle James says his country is delighted to be associated with Anambra State, which, according to him, shares the same vision on the need to encourage education as a tool to liberate the people. The ambassador spoke in Awka during a courtesy visit to Governor Peter Obi.

He said, “one of the motivations to come to your beautiful state is because we have heard so much about the transformation of the state, which Gov. Obi is leading in all sectors, especially the important sector of education where the Governor is renovating schools, partnering with Microsoft, providing buses, equipping laboratories and other infrastructure for sound learning.”

Urging the governor not to relent in his good work, he reminded him that any person who attended to children was attending to the future and that whoever attended to the future was a real leader.
