AKURE — A block of office and an industrial borehole worth N17.7 million have been donated by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ondo State, Chief Rotimi Ibidapo to the Owo Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force.
Ibidapo said that his “action was informed by the need to make policemen comfortable in a conducive environment, while discharging their task of maintaining law and order.
Disabusing the minds of the people that it was politically motivated the party Chieftain pointed out that that he had done a similar thing in Ikorodu, Lagos State, in the past.
Ibidapo called on influential and wealthy members of the society to contribute their quota towards ensuring a convenient and comfortable environment for the police.

“The strategic position of our police force requires well meaning Nigerians to rise up and give maximum support by providing a conducive atmosphere that could guarantee effective policing.
