The National Stadium,Lagos, will soon come alive when sportsmen rally to show their support for the candidacy of president Goodluck Jonathan for the forthcoming election.

National coordinator of the Sportsmen for Jonathan Organization, Fred Edoreh, said the move has become necessary in view of the sporting achievements of the country under President Jonathan adding that other rallies would also take place in other major cities in the country

Edoreh noted that the president has backed sports since he assumed office and this had contributed greatly to the performance of our sports men and women in international competition.He said: “Nigeria did well at the Commonwealth Games against all expectation.
