Governorship candidate, Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, Chief Great Ogboru, Monday, said he was prepared for the rerun election scheduled for January 6.  Ogboru, who had earlier stressed the need for display of the voters register 10 days before the January 6 rerun election, said he was not afraid of going into the election.

Speaking during a rally  at Sapele Athletic Club, in Sapele Delta State, with party stalwarts, faithful and other supporters, who came out irrespective of party affiliation to pledge their support and loyalty for him, he thanked them for believing in him.

He assured them of good governance and appealed to them to come out enmasse to vote for him. He added that unlike in the past, their votes would count in the re-run election.

Speaking at the event, Chief Ede Dafinone, Senatorial aspirant said ‘’the, Resident Electoral Officer, REC,  when he came said it (voters register)will be displayed five days to election for claims and objections.”
