Globacom is set to usher in a new season of rib cracking comedy and high octane musical entertainment for its loyal subscribers across the country as it launches Glo “Lord of the Ribs”.

The comedy show, to be hosted by ace comedian Basketmouth, is targeted at the massive youth segment of Globacom subscribers as well as the young at heart.

According to a statement from the company, Glo “Lord of the Ribs” will feature top rated international comedians from the UK and South Africa who will perform on stage with their Nigerian counterparts. Popular Nigerian music artistes will also be showcased as the show moves from city to city.

Conceptualized as a special night of entertainment for loyal subscribers on the Glo network as well as other fun-loving residents, the show will be held in seven cities, namely Enugu , Ibadan , Lagos , Benin , Kano , Abuja and Port Harcourt.
The first show holds today at the Blue Island Arena in Enugu . Comedians that will thrill the audience at the event include Gordons, I Go Dye, I Go Save, Buchi, Bovi, SIM Card, CD John, and Ogus Baba. Musical entertainment will be provided by the best in the industry such as Wande Coal, J. Martins and Flavour.
