Cross Rover in N1.7b tripartite agreement on housing

The Cross River State Government in conjunction with Aso Savings and Loan PLC and Aso Investment and Development Company (AIPC) has signed a tripartite agreement to construct 610 housing units at the Akpabuyo Civil and Public Housing Estate at the cost N1.7 billion.

Speaking shortly after a signing ceremony in Calabar, Friday, the State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke contended that the exercise marked the process of rewriting value for service delivery through the provision of affordable houses to civil servants in the State in appreciation of their work as drivers of the engine room of service, adding that the initiative will ensure that a sustainable way of providing affordable houses to them which is the dream of his administration is realized.

Imoke, who expressed delight for the realization of the project which has been on the negotiation table for quite a long time now.
