Okowa

HOUSE of Representatives aspirant, Ethiope federal constituency in Delta State, Mr. Victor Imagoro, has called on Urhobos in the state to re-elect Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019 to guarantee more dividends of democracy to Urhoboland in the years ahead.
The aspirant, who spoke to reporters, lamented what he described as zero federal presence in the constituency, saying that if given the mandate, he will work to change the cheerless story of abandonment.
“I am pained by the lack of basic infrastructural amenities in Ethiope federal constituency. It is at zero level. Governance is a social contract where the people are supposed to have not just a say, but active participation on issues that affect them since governance is all about the people.
“To this end, if given the mandate, I will work with all the appropriate arms of government and agencies to change the sad narrative. I will organise Town Hall meetings from time to time, where all stakeholders, market women, youths, and everyone in the area shall be invited to brainstorm to know what they want and carrying them along,” he said.
