Moniebook, the business management platform under the Moniepoint Group, has pledged to deepen engagement with merchants and use their feedback to improve its solutions and address their operational needs.

The company made the commitment at its first major merchant gathering since its launch last year, tagged: “An Evening with Moniebook,” which brought together business owners to share experiences, explore new features and discuss how technology could improve business operations.

Speaking at the event, Kolawole Osinowo, Head of Business Management Tools at Moniebook, said direct engagement was essential to understanding merchants’ challenges and improving the platform.

“We built Moniebook to help businesses manage their day-to-day operations more effectively. Bringing our merchants together gave us an opportunity to hear directly from them, understand their experiences and learn how we can serve them better,” he said.

He added that merchants’ contributions would help shape future product development.

“Their feedback will help shape what we build next, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for our merchants to connect with us and with one another,” Osinowo said.

During the gathering, merchants received demonstrations of Moniebook’s latest features and learned about other services within the Moniepoint Group, including Monnify’s payment infrastructure, business loans and savings products.

An interactive session allowed participants to ask questions, share experiences and communicate their needs directly to the team, providing insights into how the platform could better support their businesses.

The event also introduced former Orda Africa merchants to Moniebook’s tools and the wider Moniepoint ecosystem, following the acquisition of Orda Africa earlier this year.

The initiative reflects Moniepoint Group’s one-customer philosophy, which seeks to make its broader range of services accessible to merchants regardless of the product through which they initially joined the ecosystem.

Participants included food and hospitality businesses such as Eat n Go, the franchise group behind Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery and Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt, as well as Fruity Life. Merchants from retail, logistics, professional services and healthcare also attended.

Moniebook said it would continue creating opportunities for merchants to engage with its team and fellow business owners as it develops tools to help businesses manage their operations more effectively.
