A leading dairy brand, Peak 4-5-6 Growing Up Milk, has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing Nigerian children through their formative years, combining nutrition with opportunities for talent discovery and holistic development.
The commitment was highlighted during the brand’s nationwide Children’s Day celebrations held across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, where thousands of children and their families gathered for a series of activities designed to encourage learning, creativity, confidence-building and healthy development.
Speaking at the Abuja edition, renowned paediatrician, Dr. Zainab Momo Yaro, popularly known as Dr. Mims, underscored the importance of investing in children’s growth during their formative years.
According to her, Peak’s longstanding focus on children’s well being goes beyond nutrition to encompass talent development and the creation of opportunities that allow children to flourish.
Yaro said that childhood development requires a holistic approach that combines proper nutrition, emotional support, learning opportunities and encouragement for children to discover and express their abilities.
She said the Children’s Day celebration provided a fitting platform to showcase the enormous potential that exists among Nigerian children when they are given the right support and environment to grow.
“For us at Peak, we are always committed to supporting healthy children. And not just their health, we are also committed to supporting their talents and watching them thrive,” she said.
Reflecting on the performances and activities displayed by children during the event, the paediatrician expressed admiration for the level of talent and creativity exhibited.
“Honestly, it has been fun being here judging from the amount of talent we have seen. It further buttresses our belief that children are indeed the leaders of tomorrow,” she stated.
The event featured a wide range of activities, including games, talent showcases, competitions and interactive learning sessions aimed at encouraging self-expression and confidence among children.
The celebrations also served as the platform for the unveiling of Peak 4-5-6’s refreshed packaging, which the company said retains the same trusted nutritional formulation that parents have relied on over the years while introducing a more modern and engaging appearance.
Senior Brand Manager, Peak 4-5-6 Growing Up Milk, Moronke Adisa-Abayomi, said the initiative reflects the brand’s understanding of the unique developmental needs of children between the ages of four and six.
She explained that the period remains one of the most important stages in a child’s growth journey, requiring adequate nutrition and support to enhance learning, cognitive development and confidence.
According to her, the refreshed packaging is a reminder that while the brand’s appearance may have evolved, its commitment to providing quality nutrition for Nigerian children remains unchanged.
Peak 4-5-6 Growing Up Milk is fortified with DHA and other essential nutrients that support brain development, helping children navigate a crucial phase of their physical and cognitive growth.
The initiative forms part of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria’s broader commitment to providing quality dairy nutrition that supports children’s physical, cognitive and emotional development.
