ABUJA – A group called The New Enugu Group, Friday ,hailed the victory of Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah to emerge the governorship flag-bearer of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Enugu State Chapter.

The group described Mbah’s victory as “well deserved” in a statement signed by its converner, Henry Okeke, where they lauded Mbah’s leadership, commitment , patriotism and foresight that had placed the State on the fast lane of socioeconomic development in the last three years as it seen to be unprecedented.

Meanwhile, the group asserted that his evidence based development across sectors with legacy projects that are people oriented gave him the massive support of the people, hence his second term in office “non-negotiable”, and assured that, “We stand firmly on your mandate and remain committed to supporting your vision for a greater Enugu State.”

The group reiterated and maintained that Governor Mbah’s victory is what they stand for and expressed their strong belief in his leadership, saying the slogan: “4+4=8 — Tomorrow is Here.”
