Nigerian wireless and fibre internet service provider, Tizeti Network Limited, has announced a major leadership restructuring aimed at strengthening its next phase of broadband expansion, platform scale, and operational efficiency.
The company disclosed that the new structure, which takes effect from July 1, 2026, is designed to support its growing infrastructure footprint and deepen service delivery across the country.
Under the new arrangement, the current Chief Technical Officer, Ikenna Uche, has been elevated to the position of Managing Director. In his new role, Uche will oversee day-to-day operations, network execution, and overall service delivery.
The company explained that the move reflects a deliberate shift toward a more specialised operating model as it accelerates nationwide fibre deployment and broadens its broadband reach.
As part of the changes, Modupe Sapaye has been appointed Chief Financial Officer to strengthen financial oversight as the business enters a more capital-intensive growth phase. Amadi Ama will serve as Vice President, Marketing, leading brand strategy, customer acquisition, and market expansion across both consumer and enterprise segments.
Similarly, Emmanuel Agosu has been named Vice President, FreeFiber, where he will drive the company’s fibre access expansion strategy, while Ijem Okolugbo assumes the role of Vice President, Operations, with responsibility for network operations, service delivery, and field execution.
Commenting on the restructuring, the Chief Executive Officer, Kendall Ananyi, described Tizeti as “a digital backbone of Nigeria and one of the country’s largest internet providers,” noting that the new leadership structure was necessary to sustain growth and efficiency.
According to him, “Tizeti Network Limited has reached a scale where separating strategic leadership from operational execution is critical. This structure allows us to move faster on network expansion, deepen operational focus, and maintain the discipline required to build long-term infrastructure at scale. Ikenna brings the technical depth and execution experience needed to lead the next phase of growth.”
Uche brings over two decades of experience in telecommunications and internet services across Nigeria and West Africa. He has previously held senior roles at Vodacom-Mobax and Reliance Telecom, and has led core network operations, infrastructure rollout, and large-scale service delivery within Tizeti.
The company further stated that the restructuring is aimed at strengthening execution capacity as it expands its fibre network, scales its FreeFiber.ng platform, and positions itself to compete more effectively in Nigeria’s increasingly competitive broadband market.
