In commemoration of International Women’s Day, author and thought leader Dr. Nathalie Beasnael unveiled her first book, “We Are Not The Same”, at a well-attended launch event in Lagos.

The gathering brought together literary enthusiasts, cultural influencers, industry leaders, and community supporters in an atmosphere of reflection and celebration, and featured book readings, interactive discussions, and personal insights from Beasnael on the inspiration behind her work.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Beasnael expressed gratitude to attendees, noting: “This book was born from personal experiences and the realisation that many of us compare ourselves to others without understanding their journeys. We Are Not The Same is a reminder that our differences are not weaknesses – they are our strength.”

The book explores individuality, identity, and the uniqueness of human experiences. Through storytelling and thoughtful reflections, Dr. Beasnael encourages readers to embrace their authentic selves and recognise that each person’s path, struggles, and victories are distinct.

Both paperback and hardback editions of We Are Not The Same are now available on Amazon and selected bookstores.

A highlight of the evening was the book signing session, which allowed guests to engage directly with the author, while literary commentators described the work as timely and relatable, urging readers to reflect on identity, purpose, and the value of embracing one’s individuality.
