The leadership and major stakeholders of Ohorhe-One Community, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, have called on indigenes of the community to come together and work for the development of the community.

According to the Chairman, Ohorhe Development Committee,  Francis Eghrudjakpor and Secretary, Ambassador Emmanuel Ufuoma-Utebu, the community, which is one of the most peaceful in Delta State, is blessed with abundant human and natural resources, especially arable land.

They noted that as part of efforts to attract the needed development to the community, indigenes of the community met on  Saturday at the community Town Hall to decipher ways of achieving their goals

The community’s leadership also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of the state for his development efforts in the area and promised to complement his efforts.

They noted that, government cannot do it alone, promising to sustain the prevailing peace in the community, so as to attract investors who will fastrack development in the community
