A new property-search platform, Everything Property, has rolled out a suite of digital tools aimed at reducing the inefficiencies and risks associated with renting and buying real estate in major Nigerian cities.
The platform, which combines property listings, agent verification and an automated search assistant, is positioned to address long-standing challenges in the sector, including outdated listings, inconsistent information from agents, unclear fees and concerns about fraudulent practices.
For many Nigerians, searching for accommodation involves contacting multiple agents, paying repeated inspection fees and navigating conflicting information about availability and pricing. According to the company, the platform was developed in response to those issues, offering a centralised system where seekers and verified agents can interact.
One of its key features is “Anita,” an AI-supported WhatsApp bot that allows users to search for properties, filter by budget and location, and receive updates when new listings that match their criteria become available. Agents can also use the tool to upload listings, communicate with prospects and manage inquiries.
The platform includes real-time property availability, structured listing requirements and an internal verification process intended to reduce the circulation of fake or outdated entries. It also introduces digital inspection-fee payments, which provide both the seeker and the agent with a record of the transaction and limit the practice of showing unrelated properties.
In addition to serving seekers, the platform is designed to support real estate professionals by centralising leads, standardising listings and offering an official channel for communication.
Industry observers note that proptech adoption in Nigeria has lagged behind sectors such as transportation and financial services, where digital platforms have already reshaped consumer behaviour. Tools such as automated search assistants, verified databases and digital fee processing reflect broader efforts to modernise the property market and reduce friction between agents and clients.
Everything Property’s leadership says the platform is part of ongoing efforts to encourage greater transparency and efficiency in the real estate ecosystem, as digital solutions continue to gain traction across the country.
