Dr Olaolu Mudasiru Foundation has given seven outstanding young Nigerians scholarships, covering tuition, accommodation and living expenses.

This was done to commemorate the third-year remembrance of the late Mudasiru Olaolu, better known as Dr Bob.

On December 10, 2022, Vetiva co-founder, Dr Bob, died in Lagos after being hit by a vehicle while cycling along Gerrard Rd near NNPC Plc in Ikoyi.

Speaking at his remembrance ceremony, General Manager of Pitstop in 2023, Opeyemi Adegboro, said: “We are saddened by the loss. We are even more saddened that a whole year after his passing, the security agencies have not been able to conclude an investigation into the accident.”

But beyond education, the foundation continues to promote the arts, mentoring emerging talent, advancing cycling as a sport, driving wellness campaigns and supporting initiatives that uplift underserved communities.

Speaking on the remembrance, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr Ohis Ohiwerei, reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to upholding Dr Bob’s values of hard work, ingenuity, and service to humanity.

According to him, “through sustained programmes and strategic partnerships, the foundation will continue to create opportunities that transform lives and strengthen communities, bringing to life the very ideals Dr Bob championed.”
