Organisers of the CoolWealth Awards have confirmed that the ninth edition of the annual recognition ceremony will take place on January 11, 2026, at Azalea Hall, Glover Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The 2026 edition is being organised in partnership with TMY Empire, with TMY News serving as the official media and publicity outlet for the event.

According to the organisers, the award is designed to honour outstanding Africans who have distinguished themselves in the areas of entertainment, entrepreneurship, culture, leadership, lifestyle innovation, and social impact.

A list of high-profile guests and recipients is expected, including traditional leaders, entertainers, media practitioners, and business personalities. Notable guests include HIM Oba Abimbola Owoade I, Alaafin of Oyo, as well as several Nigerian entertainers and brand leaders.

Honourees for the 2026 edition include Jimmy Ofuoyan (KhalilImages 360Kuts) for international creative impact, and Benjamin Oyemonlan for contributions to youth development and emerging technology.

The organisers said the partnership with TMY Empire will enhance visibility, media coverage and international engagement for the awards, adding that the event will maintain its core objective of promoting African excellence.
