Fintech firm, Faveremit donates customized notebooks to over 500 pupils in Osun

In a remarkable show of commitment to education and community development, Nigerian fintech company, Faveremit, has extended its corporate social responsibility drive to the classroom, donating over 500 customized notebooks to pupils across three primary schools in Osun State.

The initiative, which formed the second phase of its Spreading Yuletide Love outreach, was carried out on February 14, 2025, and reached students at LA1 Primary School and St. Peter’s Primary School in Esa-Oke, as well as DTTC Primary School in Ijebu-Jesa.

Speaking during the distribution, Founder of Faveremit, Gabriel Olusola, described the gesture as one driven by a passion for education and long-term community transformation.

“We believe that education is the foundation of any thriving society,” Olusola said. “Through simple but meaningful acts like this, we hope to spark the dreams of the next generation.”

Teachers, school administrators, and pupils received the Faveremit team with excitement and gratitude, as each child was handed a personalized notebook a small item, yet one filled with meaning and possibility.

This latest outreach builds on the success of the first phase of Spreading Yuletide Love, launched in December 2024, which focused on distributing food and care packages to vulnerable families during the festive season. Inspired by the impact of that effort, the company turned its focus to education, believing that access to learning tools is a key step toward empowerment.

“To some, a notebook may seem small, but to a child, it represents opportunity,” Olusola added. “It’s a canvas for dreams, ideas, and learning.”

The notebooks were distributed with care and a personal touch by the Faveremit team, who coordinated the effort with school authorities to ensure an organized and meaningful experience for the pupils.

Despite being widely recognized for its digital finance offerings ranging from virtual cards and gift card exchange to crypto services Faveremit continues to show that it is not just about transactions, but transformation.

“As we grow as a fintech company, our commitment to uplifting communities will always remain a core part of our identity,” the team noted in a joint statement. “We encourage other organizations and individuals to join us in creating lasting change.”

With initiatives like Spreading Yuletide Love, Faveremit is redefining what it means to be a modern Nigerian brand where profit meets purpose, and business becomes a force for good.
