Edtech firm to revolutionize homework, exam prep with AI assistant

Brilliance Edtech, an emerging player in education technology, has launched an AI-powered Homework Assistant designed to provide academic support to students across various educational levels. The innovation comes as part of the company’s broader mission to bridge the gap in access to quality education, particularly in Nigeria and other regions, including the UK, USA, and Canada.

Founded as Brilliance Home Tutors in Lagos, the company has evolved into a technology-driven platform aimed at providing personalized learning solutions.

The Homework Assistant leverages artificial intelligence to generate instant answers and explanations for students. With features that allow users to type questions or upload images and PDFs, the platform ensures interactive and accessible learning experiences.

The declining state of education in Nigeria has left many students struggling to gain quality learning experiences, with inadequate resources compounding the issue. Speaking on the new innovation, the founder of Brilliance Edtech, Olagoke Oladapo, emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to improve learning outcomes.

“The educational system in Nigeria is facing serious challenges, from accessibility to quality of instruction. At Brilliance, we believe technology can play a pivotal role in addressing these issues. The Homework Assistant is our way of making academic support available to students, regardless of their location or financial background,” Oladapo said.

The platform is designed to support students preparing for key examinations such as UTME, WASSCE, IGCSE, IB, GCSE, and SATs, among others. It also offers curriculum-based support, allowing learners to align their studies with their specific academic requirements.

As part of its commitment to promoting educational excellence, Brilliance Edtech is introducing a scholarship initiative for high-performing students. The initiative offers scholarships of up to one million naira to top scorers in major examinations. Students can apply by reaching out to us via social media

The company has also revealed plans to expand its suite of educational tools with the introduction of a unified live learning platform in the near future. This next phase aims to further enhance access to quality education and tutor-led instruction through digital solutions.
