Kemi Badenoch’s recent election as the leader of the Conservative Party and the first Black woman to lead a major British political party marks a historic milestone.

Born in London to Nigerian parents, Badenoch’s journey from her early years in Nigeria to the pinnacle of British politics showcases the transformative power of resilience and determination.
