Rising star, Chike Echemnu better known as Feggeboy is set to hit the entertainment industry with visuals of his song titled, ‘Comeback King’ from his novel effort, Feggelite.

Comeback King, according to the singer is a song that relates to his life journey. It is also emotional and touching as it passes a message of hope to the youths. The song is the first track of his first studio album titled ‘Feggelite.’

Chating with the media on the inspiration behind the song, the gifted singer and songwriter said “Comeback King was a song I wrote with tears rolling from my eyes, leaving Fegge, leaving my family at a very tender age to Lagos to fight for survival and give smile back home to friends and family. 

“After ten years in Lagos, I saved money and traveled to Hong Kong and was deported with nothing, all my ten years of savings were gone in a week, and I had to start hustling again after many years. I raised some money and traveled to Vietnam, it was hell and I was deported again without a dime on me, but I never gave up. I continued hustling and then raised more money to travel to South Africa, but it’s worse over there. Immediately I made some money, I had to rush back home and then my friends helped me secure a Korean visa, where I reside now. 

“These, and more life experiences are the inspiration behind the track ‘Comeback King.’ In the song, I featured a top Afro-pop artiste from Korea, Kohway, and Brouly a Russian slick rapper,” he said.

However sharing what sets him apart from his peers in the music industry, the versatile artiste said, “My unique style of music and voice set me apart from other Nigerian artistes, I so much believe I got what it takes to be among, if not I wouldn’t have been here adding that “lyrics is the root of all my songs, the melodies make it even better. My vision is clear to craft melodies that resonate with both the young and old, drawing inspiration from revered artists like 9ice. 9ice is an artiste I love so much, his track Street Credibility influenced my songs.”
