Kwate’s journey into music started sixteen years ago in Edo State, Benin City. Showbiz was a real business for him.
David Cross never joked with anything spent on his musical career. He was passionate about 2face Idibia’s style of music as his role model then.
Even though his style of music is not hip-hop, 2Baba’s style has been a great inspiration for him to emulate. Kwate’s new single, On Ground, has little tunes from the living legend, 2face style of music . More so, adopting new genre of music, Afrobeats with classic vibe from 2face style , helped the new single “On Ground” to cut across.
Kwate, who featured Black I Q on the new single has generated lots of attention in Nigeria and United States of America where the song was simultaneously released.
David is planning On Ground Summer Musical Tour in July .The event will take place both in Lagos , Nigeria and Atlanta , U S A.
