A highly skilled HR professional, Chinenye Okatta, says she she wants to keep demonstrating exceptional abilities in various HR roles in a way that it would contribute to the growth of any company she comes across.
With her experience spanning HR coordination, training, employee relations, recruitment, and HRIS, she noted that she won’t rest on her oars.
Okatta’s achievements in her most recent role as an HR Specialist at The African Tour are impressive. “I developed strategies that enabled the transition of over 10 entry-level employees to skilled positions, resulting in cost savings of over 40 per cent” she said.
Her experience in recruitment has also been impressive, with a success rate of over 70 per cent . “I’ve developed strategies to attract top talent and ensure a smooth onboarding process,” Okatta stated.
Okatta’s expertise in HRIS has enabled her to implement efficient systems and processes. “I’ve implemented HRIS systems that have improved data management and reduced errors by over 90 per cent ” she said.
Her dedication to employee relations has earned her a reputation as a fair and compassionate HR professional. “I believe in fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect, where all employees feel valued and supported,” Okatta said.
Okatta’s experience in training has also yielded impressive results. “I’ve designed and delivered training programs that have improved employee performance and satisfaction,” she noted.
When asked about her approach to HR, Okatta emphasised the importance of empathy and understanding.
“I believe in taking a personalised approach to HR, understanding the unique needs and concerns of each employee,” she said.
Okatta’s achievements have not gone unnoticed, with her most recent role earning her a performance rating of over 90 per cent.
“I’m proud of my accomplishments, but I’m always looking for ways to improve and grow,” she said.
