The founder of Queen Iden Rebirth Foundation, a project to commemorate the late Queen Iden N’Okpokhuo who made ultimate sacrifices for the restoration of Obaship and the Great Benin Kingdom,Vivian Vincent has called on all women in Edo State to support the ambition of Dr. Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor to become the next governor of the state.

Describing the lone female contender for the plum job as the new face of a new dawn in Edo State, the France based entertainment promoter said Loretta is a consummate intelligentsia, amiable wife, and a loving mother who will impact in the lives of young and old in the state with compassion and change the narratives.

According to her: “It is time we give the mantle of leadership to a woman in Edo state and the noble woman, fit for the job, is Dr. Loretha. She has been doing very well both at home and in the UK. We have seen the stuff she is made of, and she perfectly fits the position as Governor of the state.

“I enjoin all women to support her in order to realise her ambition. We all have to join the train, in order to change the narrative. She has touched so many lives in Edo State and Nigeria at large through the Loretta Health Initiative, LHI and the Ashanti Graham Health and Education Initiative Foundation.

“We thank God she is offering herself to serve and not to be served. Her goal is total transformation of all areas of governance – education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, transportation, arts, culture, youths, sports, tourism, to mention just a few,” adding that “She has the passion, compassion with uncommon humility as well as outstanding integrity needed to steer the ship of the state to an enviable height.”

Vincent urged political stakeholders, opinion leaders, youths and to give her a chance to serve the state.
