In a September 12, 2022 online publication of Vanguard, we published without due verification a story in which Alexander Zingman was accused of aiding and abetting the Russian aggression against Ukraine via his business interests in Zimbabwe.

We hereby retract the said story and tender an apology to Mr Alexander Zingman who we hold in high regard.
