Abakaliki—Candidates for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in Ebonyi State, have lamented alleged payment of N500 for the reprinting of their exams slips.

The candidates in their thousands were seen at a Computer Based Test,  CBT centre, an accredited cyber café beside JAMB office along Amagu Street Abakaliki, waiting to reprint their slips after the payment of the alleged N500.

The candidates had allegedly paid N1,500 for the just concluded mock test, organised by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB.

Vanguard learnt that JAMB in the state was collecting N200 as official price for the print outs.

One of the candidates of the exam, Ifenna Daniel who is aspiring to study Pharmacy said he was told by JAMB officials at their office in Amagu street Abakaliki to make the payment. He wondered why they were made to pay N500 for reprinting of their slips for the JAMB examinations scheduled to hold 11th of this month.
