Deputy Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Friday Ossai Osanebi, yesterday, said the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has brought hope to Nigerians, expressing confidence that he has the reach to wrestle power from President Mohammadu Buhari in 2019.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the declaration of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the party, Osanebi said: “I believe that the emergence Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the best for the party. I commend the delegates for their sound judgment”.

Osanebi said: “I must hail Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for organising the best elective party convention in the history of Nigeria. Okowa has again proven his leadership capabilities.
