Danjuma should apologise to Army—Dabai

BIRNIN KEBBI—A retired military officer, Colonel Samaila Dabai, Thursday, urged his former boss, General T. Y. Danjuma (retd) to withdraw his recent statement in which he accused the Army of colluding with terrorists.

Dabai, who is currently the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, said: “I was trained by him. It is very unfortunate that he made this unfortunate comment.

“Those of us trained by him are not happy.

“Danjuma should have met with President Muhammadu Buhari in private on the security situation in the country or call the present Chief of Army Staff.”

Dabai, who spoke to journalists in his office in Birnin Kebbi, called on the General to rethink his statement against his boys and apologise.
