Education: Lagos Dep Gov promises more schools

LAGOS—Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, yesterday, said, that Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode administration is committed to the goal of providing education for all, saying, our education policy direction is that of an inclusive education delivery for all children and youths.

She spoke at this year’s Education District IV Christmas Carol/Musical concert and send forth held at Bishop Adelakun Howells Memorial, Surulere, which comprises of Apapa, Mainland and Surulere.

Adebule who was represented by the Director of Education Resource Centre in the Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mr Hazoume Kehinde, said government has a lot of plans for schools in the entire state.

Tutor General/Permanent Secretary Education District IV, in her address said the entire District IV has worked diligently and have moved from place to place. She thanked the teaching and non teaching staff for not violating and running contrary to the lay down rules and regulations, and didn’t drag the name of the district to mud.

According to the Founder/Executive Director of Live Abundantly Empowerment Initiative, Dr. Ama Onyerinma, said it is wonderful to have children to showcase their talents to celebrity the district in foremost in excellent in education and professionalism. In my own view I think there is room for development, we need to do more for our children,so when they leave Nigeria, they can be recognise anywhere in the world.
