NIPOST

Nigeria Postal Service, NIPOST, has stepped up efforts at restructuring the organization to deliver better service to its customers and other stakeholders.
As part of the plans to achieve this feat, a Zonal Retreat was held in Enugu, Enugu State on how to achieve a seamless restructuring.

Among participants at the retreat including many Managers and senior officials of the Nigerian Postal Service, were Alhaji Aliyu B. Mahmud, Director HRM, Mrs Titi Ajayi, Mr. Willie Ekong among others.
Mrs Ifeyinwa Nwofor, AGM, Corporate Communications, Enugu Zonal office, in her opening remarks acknowledged all the efforts being put in place to give NIPOST a new face.
Earlier, the Zonal Manager, Mr. Willie Ekong, said the retreat would afford the change drivers of NIPOST an opportunity to recapitulate and reiterate on the salient issues in respect of the on-going restructuring. strategy.
He commended the Post Master General/CEO, Asiwaju Bisi Adegbuyi, for all his efforts towards at re-positioning NIPOST for the attainment of strategic importance, operational efficiency and financial accretion.
On his part, Post Master General/CEO, in his presentation, reiterated the collective vision of NIPOST aimed at becoming “a thriving market-driven organisation, focusing on innovation and their commitment towards providing efficient, effective and reliable services with the aid of appropriate technology and well motivated workforce”.
Other lectures focusing on the way forward for the organization that will help reposition NIPOST and make it more functional than before were presented.
