The lawmaker representing Nnewi North Local Government Area in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Amalachukwu Anazodo yesterday called on voters in the state to reward the incumbent governor for his achievements with a second term.

Speaking during the inauguration of campaign committee for re-election of the incumbent governor, Chief Willie Obiano, the lawmaker said he expects the poll to be tough as all the candidates who emerged from the political parties are not push over’s.

He however predicted that the incumbent Governor Obiano will emerge victorious because he has justified with his achievements the mandate freely given to him by the people of the state.

“The state Governor has achieved remarkable feat when, some of his colleagues in other states are owing their workers accumulated arrears of salary. The standard reward for any hardworking person all over the world is to give more work to such individuals noting that the same rule is expected to be applicable to Anambra state incumbent governor.”
