Bickering between two lawyers that were engaged by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, yesterday, stalled hearing in the application seeking to consolidate on Ibrahim Magu’s headship of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The Federal Government has reassured Nigerians by saying its N100 billion Sukuk bond was by no means a ploy to islamise Nigeria. We have reached, as a nation, a level of childishness and manipulation I didn’t think was possible. Forget for a second about its name, this is merely a financial instrument with a positive effect for all Nigerians, irrespective of gender, ethnicity or even class.

PDP candidate, Oseloka Obaze, has dismissed insinuations that the immediate past governor of the state Mr. Peter Obi, is trying to foist him on the state, saying that the former governor is only acting as a coach to ensure the PDP returns to power. The PDP candidate also affirmed his readiness if voted to power to serve only one term in office in order to uphold the rotation principle.
